Eenvoudige wandeling | Easy hike | Leichte WanderungMiddelzware wandeling | Intermediate hike | Mittelschwere WanderungA gorgeous hike on the northern border of the Hohe Tauern Nationalpark in an area that has obviously been formed by glaciers.

We have a great view of the gorgeous Weißsee lake all the time while we are hiking here. Although the skiing area Weißsee Gletscherwelt is never far off, but it is hardly noticeable and we can enjoy all of nature’s beauty that surrounds us on this hike. The fact that glaciers are receding is very clear. At the same time this makes it very visible that enormous powers were exercised by these glaciers on the landscape to have given it the appearance it has today.

Of course we top this hike with a longer break at a cross and enjoy the view from there. Depending on your physical shape we can add another cross to the hike. Whatever we decide, we will have a fantastic view over the surrounding mountains.

The hike lasts about 4-6 hours and comes in the category easy-intermediate (click here for a short explanation).
